On June 13, 2015, joint-organized by ICMCA and other several organizations, sponsored by the Research Institute for China Temple Fairs under Ministry of Culture, [China Temple Fairs Cultural Heritage Charity Activity] with the theme of “Charity Starts at this Dream-come-true Night” was grandly held in Dalian World Expo Center.

On the day governors and people with hearts of caring from all society totally over 2000 persons attended the charity activity, including former minister of Ministry of Culture Mr. Heping ZHOU, managing chairman of China Association for Intangible Cultural Heritage Preservation Mr. Wenhui MA, director Mr. Ke HU and vice director Mr. Qinglang LIU of art development center under Ministry of Culture, dean of China Academy for Temple Fair Culture Mr. Hengshun SHI, former managing committeeman in party affairs and former dean of economics institute of Peking University Mr. Zhijie YAN, professor from Peking University Mr. Xiaohua Liu, director of Government Management Research Center of Peking University Mme. Yu YAN, doctoral supervisor of Philosophy Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Science Mme. Xia CHEN, head of research institution for Nations and Religions of Peking Union University Mr. Xun TONG, and etc.

This charity activity is aimed to show the preservation achievements by the inheritors to intangible cultural heritage, and appeal to together help the intangible cultural heritage protectors and inheritors who are with difficulty in their protection for cultural heritages, presenting “Flowing Tunhuang---flowing culture” though fantastic performance by the intangible cultural heritage inheritors, in order to develop and expand excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nations, to pragmatically improve all society’s consciousness for protecting cultural heritages, and to let all people sense the unique charms of very precious intangible cultural heritages.

All charity funds raised by artworks collected in this activity and donated by artists in the auction sector have been donated to China Charity Federation, China Disabled People’s Federation, many schools and other organizations and institution, for the use of support to education of students in poverty, welfare for disabled people, preservation for Chinese traditional culture and for other public welfares.
